Sustainability

Imtech Traffic & Infra operates established environmental, sustainability and business improvement processes, developed to achieve our corporate policy objectives and tailored for our operations. These processes have been specifically developed through Imtech Traffic & Infra’s service delivery, with those for Environmental management being developed for our ISO 14001:2004 certification.
Our sustainability objectives and processes cover;

• carbon management,
• waste reduction,
• purchase and supply of sustainable products, and
• social aspects (staff, CSR, and local environments).
  
  

The processes evolve through review and audit to ensure they are effective and align with best practice. We have a rigorous regime of internal and external annual audits conducted by our own, qualified QHSE audit team and by NRQA (Lloyds Register Quality Assurance) to monitor our improvement progress in line with our objectives under Imtech Traffic & infra’s ISO 14001:2004 certification.

In recognition of Imtech Traffic & Infra’s (formally Peek Traffic Ltd) overall progress in driving through positive change, the company was selected as a ‘Large Company’ finalist for the 2009-2010 Sustainable Business Awards, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight,. The awards recognise commitments and achievements of businesses in environmental, social and economic performance.
